*Booby (affectionately known as Bobby) bought these insoles for about $120. If you are looking to keep your feet warm and not spend $200.00 like Luke this might be a good option for you. Luke’s review of the socks can be found here.
A couple of weeks ago I found myself battling against the cold water temps and the numbing of my feet, if you have waded cold water you know what I am talking about. As I danced around the stream trying to keep the blood flowing to my feet, our very own Luke Ott seemed unaffected by the cold water. I asked him, “Aren’t your feet cold?! As I made my way back to land to warm up a bit, He said, “No I have heated insoles.” (see his review of the Cabelas Heated Socks) Here Needless to say I recently bought a set and tried them out having mixed feelings, but I was very satisfied once I used them. The heat settings and power are all controlled by a small remote that attaches very nicely to your vest or wadding jacket, they are also rechargeable. Pick a pair up and spend more time in the water and less time on land.
