That’s right the Pacu has now been found in northern NJ, just ten miles outside of New York.  Forget the Zombie invasion this one has more bite.  The Bergen Record reported and posted a picture of the 10″ Fish.  The fish have been found in Sweden and  Illinois as well and they most likely end up in the water when they outgrow fish tanks.  While the Pacu can’t survive in cold temperatures and will likely die off this winter, this is generally how invasive species enter a water system.  So kill your pet fish or you could face criminal charges.
